チェルシーがCL優勝し、5位以下フィニッシュのとき、3位クラブは？

結論から言えば、全チームがグループステージからのスタートになるようです（プレーオフなし！）。
いまのところ確認できているのが、プレミアリーグ公式サイトからの情報くらいなので、心もとないといえば心もとないのですが、まあそれ以上のことはみんなよくわかってないんじゃないかと思われます。

イングランドのクラブがCLチャンピオンになったが、プレミアで4位以内に入れなかった（が、ELの出場権をプレミアの順位により得た）場合、プレミア優勝クラブ、準優勝、3位クラブとともに、CL優勝チームの立場でグループステージにまわる。

CL優勝によって国別の出場枠が増えることはない。したがって4位のクラブはELにまわされることになる。

CLチャンピオンになったイングランドのクラブがプレミアの順位でCL出場権を得られない[、さらにELの出場権も得られない*1]場合、優勝チームとしてCLグループステージに出場し、4位のクラブはELにまわることになる。この場合、優勝クラブが属するフットボール協会にはEL枠が1つ追加されることになる。
